It focuses on topics including the rise of digital politics; challenges to democracy including populism, racism, nationalism, illiberalism and reactionary politics; radical politics on both the right and the left; culture wars; and new forms of progressive politics amongst others.

It publishes exciting work that challenges the status quo, offers historically informed insights into the changing shape of politics, media and culture, and pushes beyond staid disciplinary borders. Methodologically and theoretically pluralist, politically progressive and imaginative, it welcomes books that make conceptual and/or empirical contributions to our understanding of the intricate intersections between politics, media and culture.
