This series makes the writings of major anti-colonial intellectuals available for new audiences. Leading scholars introduce a wide variety of anti-colonial writings and demonstrate their relevance today.

Each volume will provide:

  • A critical introduction, providing biographical information, historical contextualisation, the publication and reception history of the text(s), and further reading;
  • The key text(s) with notes and commentary;
  • A conclusion by the editor reflecting upon the contemporary relevance of the text(s).
