Jeremy Tambling

Jeremy Tambling is Professor of Comparative Literature at the University of Hong Kong. He is author of Henry James: Critical Issues (Macmillan, 2000), Opera and the Culture of Fascism (Clarendon Press, 1996), Dickens, Violence and the Modern State: Dreams of the Scaffold (Macmillan, 1995), Narrative and Ideology (Open University Press, 1991), Confession: Sexuality, Sin, the Subject (MUP, 1990), Dante and Difference: Writing in the Commedia (CUP, 1988), What is Literary Language?
