As the only dedicated Scots Law publisher based in Scotland, Edinburgh University Press is committed to delivering exceptional texts for the Scottish legal market. We publish books for students, academics and legal professionals across the core areas of Scots Law. We are also interested in projects that consider Scots law in its comparative context.
Our Scots Law list that has grown considerably since the acquisition of Dundee University Press in 2013 and the recent acquisition of the law list of Avizandum Publishing Ltd in 2019. In addition to our flagship comparative law series, Edinburgh Studies in Law, we now also publish the Edinburgh Law Essentials (formerly Dundee Law Essentials) and the Avizandum Statutes.
