About the Author

Gerri Kimber, Visiting Professor in the Department of English at the University of Northampton, is co-editor of the annual yearbook Katherine Mansfield Studies, and Chair of the Katherine Mansfield Society. She is the deviser and Series Editor of the four-volume Edinburgh Edition of the Collected Works of Katherine Mansfield (2016) and the author of Katherine Mansfield: The View from France, and A Literary Modernist: Katherine Mansfield and the Art of the Short Story.

Vincent O’Sullivan, Professor Emeritus, Victoria University of Wellington, is the world’s foremost Mansfield scholar and is President of the Katherine Mansfield Society. He has edited, with Margaret Scott, the five volume edition of Katherine Mansfield’s Collected Letters, published by Oxford University Press. He is also widely published as a poet, fiction writer, playwright, and biographer.

Angela Smith is an emeritus professor of the University of Stirling where she was Director of the Centre of Commonwealth Studies. She has published widely on colonial and postcolonial writing and is the author of Katherine Mansfield: A Literary Life (Palgrave 2000) and Katherine Mansfield and Virginia Woolf: A Public of Two (Clarendon Press 1999) as well as the editor of Katherine Mansfield: Selected Stories (Oxford World's Classics, 2002).

Claire Davison, Professor of Modernist Studies at the Université Sorbonne Nouvelle, Paris, is the current Chair of the French Virginia Woolf Society. She is the author of Translation as Collaboration – Virginia Woolf, Katherine Mansfield and S. S. Koteliansky (2014) published by Edinburgh University Press, and the co-editor of Contemporary Woolf / Woolf contemporaine, Katherine Mansfield’s French Lives, and Volume Seven of the annual yearbook Katherine Mansfield Studies.
