About the Author

Glyn Davis is a lecturer and academic coordinator of postgraduate studies at the Glasgow School of Art. He is the author of Queer as Folk (2007) and the co-editor of Queer TV (2008).

Reviews

Written with clarity and charm, Davis' study furnishes film student and film-lover alike with an accessible and erudite reading of Far from Heaven and of the key issues surrounding it. What emerges is the film's significance both for the discussion of contemporary American cinema and for understandings of the aesthetic and critical productivity of queering film.
- Michele Aaron, University of Birmingham
